Jody’s Art Featured at The Stanley Theatre
From October 23, 2008 to November 23, 2008, Jody Billingsley will participate in a silent auction to help raise funds for Vancouver’s Arts Club Theatre. Jody’s three pieces, featured below, will be showcased at the Stanley Theatre located at 2750 Granville Street. Proceeds will help support The Arts Club to continue to produce professional live theatre. Click on the first image below to view the Arts Club auction site. Art In the City Painting Printed In The Georgia Straight

Jody’s painting, “Vancouver Showers” was used as the advertising for the West End Community Centre’s Art In the City Show and Sale. Jody’s painting, donated as the doorprize, was not only printed as posters and postcards used all over the lower mainland, but it was also printed in Vancouver’s The Georgia Straight, The Courier and The 24 Hours Newspaper.

Jody On The Express - Vancouver’s Lifestyle Magazine Program

On May 13, 2008, Jody was featured on Shaw Cable’s lifestyle magazine program, The Express.
The program features what’s happening the Vancouver and Lower Mainland communities. Jody demonstrated a simple technique (stippling) that is used in his paintings. Johanna Ward, the host of The Express, joined Jody in the interactive demonstration. Clips from the show will be uploaded soon.
